The joy of a swishy tail

When Darcy came home I discovered her tail was more like a fibrous club. So heavy she couldn't swing it. She also kicked like mad, so I was unable to brush it. The vet sedated her so we could do her feet and I cut off the offending tail and brushed out the rest.

Today she lets me brush it (on a looooong handled brush-on-a-stick) and she is better every day with me handling her "back there". I swear she loves getting her tail groomed. It is so huge and fluffy. And she swishes it "just because".
